Work / Focus
I rediscovered my Find My Success framework (it was an app idea I had), which helps people filter noise, clarify direction, test actions, and author their own rules for success.
Seems, like this whole meta-experiment I am running, with the goal of becoming a millionaire by 50 (in 15 months), is based on this, but I had totally forgot all about it.
This morning, I was trying to determine what to focus on today. I am in the Foundation + First Proof stage of my business building, I have many articles on the blog already, and I've done 2 singing TikTok videos (data points) in my singing exposure experiment.
I might focus on making sure Find My Success is the system under which this meta-experiment runs... I haven't connected the dots fully here... There is something I am missing still.
Personal
The whole idea of Find My Success was born because the blueprints out there for building successful businesses don't acknowledge a person's lived context. And that's what I was trying to do, recognize that I was building a business, but not in vacuum. I am building a business as a single mother with 2 children at home, who has ADHD and struggles to keep her house clean and life organized, who wants to lose weight and is in a year-long weight loss study (but has been gaining what I lost back, UGH!), and has a mom on chemo.
This is my context, so while reaching a million dollars in revenue in 15 months is my business goal/experiment, the rest of my life is very important too, so how does one juggle it all?
That is the question I seek to answer for myself and help others answer for themselves.
Today I am taking a bunch of boxes to the post office for my mom and my children have dental appointments, so I don't know how much I can do. My only requirement is posting my 3rd singing TikTok video before bedtime.
